William Ball born 1781
jurat of Hastings (3 June 1830)
baptized 25 December 1781, All Saints, Hastings

Notes: there is another William Ball, christened 1779 son of John & Elizabeth (Hanson)

the couple William and Elizabeth Ball had children in St. Mary in the Castle, Hastings,
from 1814 until 1836 - all in Hastings, so presumably this William is to be identified
with the one christened 1779, son of John

in addition, James Ball, brother of William Ball (c.1779) in his will of 1852 mentions
his nephew William Ball of Hastings, Wheelwright

Mr Baines, curator of the Hastings Museum noted the following
for this man:

? son of William and Ann Ball, christened 25th Dec 1781 All Saints
(? of St. Mary in the Castle marr. Elizabeth Phillips 12 Feb 1811 St. Clement)
5 Dec 1831 - resigned as jurat, being non-resident
