# The parents of Albert Meijburg Albertsz:

His name is given several times in the documentary
records with the patronym 'Albertsz:' meaning his
father's name was Albert. Since we also know that
he was born at the Cape, we can be pretty sure that
he was the son of Albert Lammertsz Meijburg and
Elsje van der Merwe baptised in 1727 and known,
from his father's will of 1749, still to be living then.
