Gerrit Jacobus du Toit 1 farmer 2 of Bokrantjie, disrict of Worcester 3 born circa January 1773, Koude Bokkeveld 4 died 20 December 1843, at his home, called 'Bokrantjie', district of Worcester 5 Notes: this family reconstructed from the Death Notices of Gerrit Jacobus du Toit and Helena Christina Theron with clues from the N aairs online index which list a will for this pair which was filed in 1837 and a will for G J du Toit and Sophia v d Westhuyzen which was filed in 1844 (wills not examined). No wife or widow is mentioned in the Death Notice of G J du Toit but his children are divided into two groups, five are majors and three are minors. The Death Notice of Helena Christina Theron, which is earlier than that of G J du Toit, does not mention Pets. Lood. du Toit.
