Eldred Edmund Fysh MRCS, surgeon and chemist (1837) 1 born 1811 baptized 9 December 1811, St. Margarets, Lynn died 11 January 1849 2 buried Watlington Notes: The marriage details are from the collection of Fysh material in the Norfolk Family History Society's Library in Norwich. Details of wife and children taken from 1851 Census, Watlington, and assumed to be his on strength of children's names (see will of their grandmother Sarah Fysh in 1860) and the fact that Eldred Edmund's grave is in Watlington churchyard. In 1841 Eldred Fysh, surgeon, aged 25, was living in Norfolk Street, Lynn with his mother Sarah Fysh and two sisters, Elizabeth and Mary. The London and Provincial Medical Directory of 1847 lists him as having formerly been a surgeon in the Navy.
