Frederick Lewis Fysh born 13 February 1837, Islington, London, UK baptized 25 June 1837, Union Chapel, Islington, London, England died 26 March 1900, Launceston, Tas, Astl buried 28 March 1900, General Cem, Launceston, Tas, Astl Notes: Date of arrival in Hobart not certain. Birth records show first two children born in Victoria in 1860 & 1862. Third in Hobart 1864. Most likely arrival is shown in "Wayn" list of shipping arrivals (AOT). " Mr FYSH and wife" are listed as arriving ex Melbourne via SS Tasmania 26/3/1863. Buried in General Cemetery, Launceston. (refer newspaper notice). Headstone later removed to Carr Villa. Not sure if remains were also transferred.

The RGD record shows place of death as "Davey Street" (his uncle Philip Oakley FYSH lived in Davey Street at that time) and the cause of death as diarrhoea and abcess. (RGD death incorrectly indexed as "Korean" FYSH). Birth: RGD 1878 (AOT). Death: RGD 1879 (AOT).
