for a Thieleman Visser, f. 382.18.18 as at 1 Jan 1718

Roelof Jonasse informed the meeting of the Stellenbosch Landdrost
and Heemraden of 14th March 1712 that he had taken Caspar Gommers
and Aaltje Vissers into custody at Stellenosch, providing them with food
and drink, and then took them to the Cape with his wagon and oxen. He
presented his bill. (1STB 1/4, page 30)

At the meeting of the same body on 20th June 1712 Bruynette van de
Caab appeared and presented her bill for looking after the children of
Casper Gommers and his doxy (bysit), Aletta Vissers for a period of 8
weeks and two days. Presumably at that date she was no longer caring
for them? (1STB 1/4, page 33)
