children of Lydia and Henry Billing Mary Billing 3 Notes: On 13th November 1774 the court books of Weasenham East Hall record the admission of Mary Billing, on the surety of Thomas Billing, who had surrendered the property in Spamer Furlong he had inherted from his brother William. 'to the only proper use and behoof of Mary Billing spinster , sister of the said Thomas Billing, her heirs and assigns forever'. A note in margin of the court book, undated, records that she was 'now married to Thomas [Jarvis]'. In 1764 his brother William was described as the eldest son so we can assume that this Henry had died before that without leaving heirs. (there is a Henry Billing buried Weasenham All Saints 09.08.1747) John Billing born 1723 baptized 30 April 1723, Weasenham All Saints 6 Notes: Not mentioned in his father's will of 1763. In 1764 his brother William was described as the eldest son so we can assume that this John had died before that without leaving heirs. (there is a Henry Billing buried Weasenham All Saints 09.08.1747) William Billing 7 circa 1724-circa 1774 born circa 1724 8 died circa 1774 9 Notes: On 18th October 1764 he was admitted tenant of the manor of Weasenham East Hall, upon the death of Henry Billing, his father. In the manor court book he is decribed as: William Billing eldest son and heir at law of the said Henry Billing deceased ... 3 roods of copy hold land lying and being in a certain place called Sparmer Furlong near the King's Highway in Weasenham All Saints .. which premises the said Henry Billing ... had taken up 10 October 1744 after the death of Henry and Anne Billing his grandfather and grandmother ... On 13 November 1774 his brother Thomas Billing was admitted to ownership of this piece of land: 'Thomas Billing after the death of and as Bror. and heir of Wm Billing'.
