Emily Rudd born 1871, Whitwell, Norfolk died 19 March 1922, Surrey Street, Norwich Notes: After Emily's marriage she and Frederick George lived in Surrey Street,Norwich. The house wa s burned down in a fire in the 1914-1981 period and Emily and her two children Sidney and Win ifred died in the blaze. Frederick George escape by climbing across the roofs of neighbourin g building but left Norwich in shame for not having tried further to rescue his family.
