Her husband remarried but his new wife did not want t o bring up his child and "Eyre" Kendall was brought up in Boarding School and also by a Dr. L ettice who was married to Emily's sister. According to my mother Dr.Lettice lived in Gt.Yarmouth,Regent Street. (information supplied by Roger Kendall)
