4 South to Walpole, Parrinder, Steve, manuscript Civil Registry for Deaths showed that Harriet, the eldest child died aged sixteen at Docking in 1873 In the churchyard at Docking I soon found the Marsters plot, the graves of Sarah's sisters and brother and that of her father Edmund and mother Harriet, after whom she had named her own daughter. Hidden immediately behind Edmund's gravestone, indeed backing onto it was another smaller stone covered in lichen which, after scrubbing with a brillo pad revealed his granddaughter, spelt "Harriette" who died on the 6th January 1873. ... She died of " Consumption ", tuberculosis.
