5 Court Books - Manor of Monks and Feltham in Great Massingham, Court Books 14 May 1747 - 1921, Norfolk Record Office at a court of 26th October 1858 Mary Boulter of Great Massingham widow and relict of John Boulter deceased was admitted tenant under the will of the said John Boulter ... the said Mary Boulter dparted this life on or about the 18th day of August 1869 ... now to this court comes William Kenney of Great Massingham, groom (by Henry Kenney his father attorney on his behalf)** and produces an extract from the said will of the said John Boulter bearing date the 11th day of April 1853 ... the testator gives and devises all those nine copyhold cottages with the yards gardens &premises thereto belonging ... situate near Weasenham road in Great Massinghm, which he purchased of Henry Gibson, unto his wife for her life and after her decease ... the cottage no 2 then occupied by Henry Kenney to the said William Kenney the son of Henry Kenney aforesaid of Great Massingham, grandson of his said wife and the said testator by his said will directed that the said William Kenney ... should pay in consideration of the value the sum of five pounds to each of his brothers and sisters ...
