who says that the bulk of the information was supplied by the late John Fysh of
Croydon.
The dates against many of the names in the form d1897 or j1853 I would guess
to be references to the General Register Office indexes and would indicate the
quarter of the year in which the entry appeared, the four quarters being March,
June, September and December.
The information on the marriage of Wiliam Fysh and Phillis Wilikins, I added from the
marriage register of St. Nicholas, Lynn, marriage register, having first found
the marriage in the Norfolk
Family History Society's Norfolk Marriage Index 1801-1837. The baptisms of their
children I added from the baptism registers of St. Margaret's, Lynn.
