Clara Harst 1 born at the Cape 2 Notes: I cannot find any baptism or her, nor have I been able to dind any other evidence for her parentage. J.L.Hattingh assumes that she was another daughter of Lijsbeth (Sanders) van de Kaap and Johann Herfst (a child of theirs was baptised at Stellenbosch 1702) and states that they had a firm relationship around 1700 but gives no evidence for this statement.
