Frederik Botha died before 1719 Maria Kickers

Johannes Botha 1 of the farm Olifantsberg, beyond the Breede River 2 Notes: I have not found a baptism for Johannes, nor any document giving an indication of his date of birth. I have therefore inserted him among his brothers and sisters as though he were born around 1700 for two reasons. Firstly this is the only gap in a seeming run of children born every two or three years, and his two brothers Willem and Jacobus married at ages 22 and 21 and I am guessing he may have done the same. This family was reconstructed from the Esate Accounts of Anna Provo, widow of Schalk Willemsz van der Merwe, 1740.
