11 Thwaites, Lesley - email communication, information received 2004 The marriage of John's eldest daughter, Betsy, which as you know took place on 22nd June 1812, was also witnessed by John Thwaites with George Thwaites (presumably John's older brother and Betsy's Uncle) as the 2nd witness. John Swaine, by the way, is refered to on the marriage record as 'John Swaine the Younger of the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields, Middlesex.' Once again, William Dixon, the curate, officiated.
