John Ball born 1661 baptized 6 October 1661, St. Clements Church, Hastings 1 died 1699 buried 24 May 1699, St. Clements, Hastings 2 Notes: his parents might well have been Robert Ball and Jane Hussey. Their son John was baptized 4 Oct 1663 at St. Clements. He was alive in 1666 when mentioned in his grandfather's will but we do know that John Ball, the son of Robert Ball and Alice bapt. 6 Oct 1661 at St. Clements, was alive in Jan 1683 when he was granted letters of administration in the estate of his father, so I have assumed that this John is he
