David Stunt
plasterer (1881) 1
of 11 Hill Street, Hastings 2
born circa 1828, Westfield, Sussex 3
Notes:
Cyril Noble of Washington State, USA, has an interesting series
of letters, dating between 1844 and 1849, written by members of
the Stunt family.

The earliest is written by David Stunt, writing from the 'Grenadier
Company 1st Battalion, 97th Regiment Corfu' on the 20th Feb 1844,
to his brother, Private George Stunt at 'Grenadier Company. 54th
Regiment. Athlone, County Tipperary, Ireland'.

The others are mainly from George Stunt to his parents.

It is not known if this man is the same David Stunt as the one who
married Louisa Ball in 1874 but it certainly seems to be possible.

Cyril Noble is very happy to correspond by email with anyone who
is interested in this family.

married 7 November 1874 at St. Clement, Halton 4
