Sara Michiels Soetens of Jacob Gerrits Straet, Delft 1 died January 1650 2 buried 21 January 1650, Nieuwe Kerk, Delft 3 will dated 28 March 1649 Notes: In her will dated 28th March 1649 she is described as the widow of Willem Tol, surgeon, living in Delft in the Jacob Gerrits Straet. Interestingly, crossed out is the address: 'on the south side, in the back section ('achterhuisinge') of the Snouck. Perhaps they lived there earlier. To her son, Jacob Willemsz Tol, she leaves the instruments and equipment left behind by his father, the surgeon; the silver instruments as well as the others, and to her daughters, Josina, Aefgen and Adriaentgen Tol, her own jewels, siver and gold. Her will dated 28th March 1649 so perhaps we can imagine her having to suffer several months of sickness before she died and was buried in the Nieuwe Kerk on 21st January 1650 when her burial is recorded in a grave owned by Josijntge Tol.

There is a note of relative of Mr Willem Tol, surgeon being buried in the Oude Kerk 5th July 1622, which might well have been this child.
