I have assumed here that the daughter Hilletjie Gertruida Basson,
married to Hendrik Jac van der Westhuizen, who is listed in the
death notice of Hilletje Gertruida Rust, is the same HG Basson who
was earlier married to Johannes Petrus du Toit.

In her mother's Esate Acounts she is named as Hilletje Geertruida
Basson, thans gehuwd met Hendrik Jac:s v.d. Westhuijzen, which
form of words suggests that she was previously married.
