He applied for, and received, naturalisation as citizen of the
Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek in 1894, presenting a letter from
Veldkornet, Kaapsche Hoop dated 22 January 1894.
(TAB SS 4114 R1323) and is mentioned as deceased in a
document dated 13 June 1899 (TAB SS 7919 R8756).

I have assumed that the child of Abrahm Lutein Risseeuw is the
same person as the August John William R who is named as his
father in the death notice (TAB MHG 10301/68) of Jan Carel
Christoffel Risseeuw. But I have found no other evidence so far.
