Notes: She seems to have lived with her aunt and uncle
Elizabeth and George Clayton, fishmongers, first in St Stephens,
then in the Market Place, St Peter Mancroft.

I assume (from the GRO index) that she married in 1862 to
William Joseph Bolton, but it would be necessary to check
the actual marriage certificate to be sure (1862 Dec 4b 319).

If so, by 1871 she was living in the Barracks in St Andrew,
Newcastle upon Tyne, with her two sons, George Bolton,
aged 6, born Norwich and William Bolton, aged 2, born
Portsmouth.

By 1881 the family is living in South Bradford and the children
Alfred, Joseph, Henry and Mary Anne, born in various parts of
the country have joined George and William. William Bolton
senior is working as a bricklayer's labourer.
