In this will, dated 7th February 1821 her parents are named as Jacobus Hendrik Smit and Margaretha Wilhelmina Louw. Her children are listed here in the order given in their grandmother's death notice (Margaretha Wilhelmina Louw, March 1843) where, except for the last three, they are noted all to be of full age at that date.
