Cicilia Jansen 1 born 1715 2 baptized 21 April 1715, Drakenstein 3 died 20 July 1774, Waveren 4 Notes: She seems consistently to have thought of herself as Sicilia Jansen, that is, without any van Rensburg attached. She is so named in the will of her step-sister and foster mother, Maria van Staden, as a witness at the baptism of her niece, Elsie, the post- humous daughter of her brother Willem in 1746, at the baptism of her own son Carel in 1752 and in her own will (MOOC 7/1/21, 39) of 1770.
