Maria Magdalena Eckhoff 1 born 1721, Cape of Good Hope 2 baptized 15 June 1721, Cape Town 3 died 6 August 1776, Land van Waveren 4 will dated 11 April 1775 5 Notes: She is listed in the inventory of her mother's estate (1730) as a child aged 9 years old. I have assumed she is the same person as the Maria Magdalena Eckhoff whom Catharina Elisabeth van Wijk names as her mother in her will dated 1764. When she and her husband made their will in 1765 she stated that she had no parents then living. She signed with a cross mark. Their children are given as listed in the Deceased Estate Accounts of Gerrit van Wijck, earliest date in the accounts: 30th May 1787.
